Our academic philosophy of “Think, Understand and Apply” is adopted within our nurturing environment, and our small class sizes ensure a close interaction between the teacher and student. 3. The expertise, commitment, innovative ideas and methodologies of our staff encapsulate the dynamics of our education philosophy. 4. Our Code of Conduct, together with a demerit and warning system, ensures that our pupils are responsible for their actions and have a clear understanding of the consequences. 5. Tell me, I'll forget. Show me, I'll remember, Involve me, I'll understand" a. Tell me, I'll forget..... hearing and listening are not one of the stronger senses in brain and nervous systems. b. Show me, I'll remember...seeing is one of the strongest senses in the central nervous system. [brain]. c. Involve me, I'll understand...this would include all of the senses possible....skin, hearing, seeing, feeling, touching, smelling, taste and etc....also involvement means in most cases experiential learning. Which indeed means, Involve me, I'll understand. These are the means to learning...this is what we as teachers should always have in mind.

Faith Montessori

Accra, Ghana

We skillfully combine two scientific and highly successful approaches. The Montessori Methodology The Montessori approach allows children to grow naturally to retain their individuality and develop their own unique personality. Where our focus is on pupils learning spontaneously, teachers act as skilled observers, identifying students who need help and those better off left on their own to pursue intense activities joyfully. Multiple Intelligences Theory “… It is of the utmost importance that we recognize and nurture all the varied human intelligences, and all the combinations of intelligences. We are all so different largely because we all have different combinations of intelligence.” -Howard Gardner (1987) Appreciating the endowment of multiple intelligences that our students possess, the school employs many varied approaches in teaching to support the various learning capacities and styles of our students.
